Seafood Jambalaya Recipe March 08 2017
No meat for Lent? Our Jambalaya Rice Mix is vegetarian so you can still enjoy it with seafood! It tastes great with Shrimp and Crawfish or serve your Fish Filet with a delicious side of Jambalaya Rice. A little lagniappe - try it with fried oysters on top too!
You Will Need
For 8 oz. Box:
2.5 cups water
1 lb. of seafood (you can select one type or make a combination that equals 1 lb.) – peeled shrimp, peeled crabmeat, peeled crawfish or bite sized pieces of fish filets
For “Party Size” Box, 1 - 20 oz. Bag:
6 cups water
3 lbs. of seafood (you can select one type or make a combination that equals 3 lbs.) – peeled shrimp, peeled crabmeat, peeled crawfish or bite sized pieces of fish filets
Stove Top Instructions: Seafood Jambalaya
- Add water to pot and bring to a boil.
- Add Jambalaya Rice Mix then bring back to a boil.
- Add Seafood.
- Reduce heat and low. Cover and simmer on low for 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
- Shout “Yum Yum, Come Get You Some!” Stir and serve.
Note: Jambalaya Girl Jambalaya Rice Mix is a vegetarian product. The "beef base" on the ingredient statement is a vegan base that does not contain any beef or meat products.
