How to Make Jambalaya Girl Gumbo in a Slow Cooker November 08 2019

Slow Cooker / Crock Pot Gumbo Instructions
(For 1 – 4 oz. Jambalaya Girl Gumbo Mix) 

Ingredients: 
1 lb. Sliced Smoked Sausage 
Meat from 1 Rotisserie Chicken, picked off the bone 
6 cups water 

1. Add chicken and sausage to slow cooker. 
2. Add 4 cups water to slow cooker.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk Gumbo Mix with remaining 2 cups water until Mix is fully dissolved.
4. Add Gumbo mixture to slow cooker and mix well.
5. Cook on HIGH for 3.5 hours or on LOW for 7.5 hours.
6. Shout "yum yum, come get you some!" Stir and serve or rice.

Tip: Double this recipe for an easy party sized meal!
