Cooking Instructions for Gumbo 2oz. Package:
You will need: 3 cups water + 1 lb. chicken & sausage
- Precook meat in the pot.
- Add 2 cups water to pot and bring to a boil.
- In a separate bowl, whisk Gumbo Mix with remaining 1 cup water until Mix is dissolved.
- Add Gumbo mixture to boiling pot and mix well.
- Return pot to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover pot and simmer for 20-45 min. to desired consistency, stirring occasionally.
- Shout – “Yum yum, come get you some!” stir and serve over rice.
