Jambalaya Girl Selected to Louisiana Cookin “Louisiana Hot List” November 14 2021

Louisiana Cookin "Louisiana Hot List" Featured Product

Seafood Gumbo & Jambalaya March 09 2021

Jambalaya Girl's Jambalaya & Gumbo mixes go great with seafood!

Shrimp, crawfish, crab and/or oysters all taste fantastic with this roux. To prepare it as a Seafood Gumbo – add seafood to pot 20 minutes before cooking is completed.

No meat for Lent? Our Jambalaya Rice Mix is vegetarian so you can still enjoy it with seafood! It tastes great with Shrimp and Crawfish or serve your Fish Filet with a delicious side of Jambalaya Rice. It's also the perfect dish to serve at a Crawfish Boil!

Cook Me Somethin' Mister! February 02 2021

The Carnival Spirit is alive in New Orleans even though parades are canceled this year for Mardi Gras. And we want to share that spirit with you no matter where you are, or better yet, “where y’at!”

I was born during Mardi Gras and started my company during Mardi Gras. So, this Jambalaya Girl is not missing out and I want you to enjoy it too. Here are some ways you can still celebrate Mardi Gras in 2021.

Get you some Jambalaya. Get you some Gumbo. Order a King Cake. Throw some purple, green and gold on your front porch. Then join the party!

Krewe of House Floats

This idea was started by one of my neighbors in Algiers Point in New Orleans. Kudos to Megan, this is awesome. The plan is to parade at home by decorating our houses like Mardi Gras floats. There are now thousands of “House Floats” across not only the city, but the country, that are getting creative and showing off their best float décor. Check out the map of House Floats here

We're loving the food theme houses too, check out the list captured by Eater New Orleans
